Portishead – Palacio de los Deportes, Madrid, Spain (July 18th, 2014) – Mp3

Another great show this week (and a pity I missed BRMC playing also this week in Madrid). This was the first performance ever of Portishead in Madrid, and the first time I have been to one of their shows… and even though the setlist is pretty standard and I already knew what I was going to get, I enjoyed it a lot. The sound was great from the begining of the show, and I fell in love with Beth Gibbons once again, what a great voice she has!!! You can enjoy her in the louder songs and in the softer ones, it doesn’t matter. Machine Gun is amazing live, what a powerful song!

The sound is quite good with little interference from the audience, there’s quite a difference in the volume between the louder songs and the softer ones, but I am not good at editing so I let it as it was. As always if anybody wants to play with the original files drop me an email.
